Medicare sells standalone drug plans by region, and each region has its own prices. Here is each region's field at a glance: how many plans there are, the lowest, typical and highest monthly premium, and how many plans charge no premium or no drug deductible. Employer-only plans are excluded.
- 323 plan offerings from 15 companies across 39 regions. A plan sold in several regions counts once in each.
- Premiums range from $5.30 to $326.00 a month. The middle offering is $80.30.
- 0 offerings charge no premium, and 3 have no drug deductible. 213 charge the most Medicare allows, $700.

Premiums are the monthly amounts each plan filed with CMS for 2027, before any Extra Help. The middle premium is the median: half of a region's plans cost less and half cost more. The bar runs from each region's lowest premium to its highest, on one scale for the whole country, and the mark is the middle one. An enrollment-weighted average shows what members actually pay, but CMS's enrollment figures aren't loaded yet. Until they are, only the plain average is shown, and it counts every plan equally.
